Job Summary
The Assistant Slitter Operator supports coilslitting operations by preparing materials assisting with machine setup and ensuring production runs according to work orders. This role requires attention to detail reliability and the ability to work safely in a fastpaced industrial environment.
Requirements
- Experience with coil slitting
- Ability to follow work orders accurately
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to work in an industrial environment
- PPE required (steeltoe boots)
Job Duties
- Assist with coilslitting operations and machine setup
- Prepare materials according to work order specifications
- Monitor production to ensure accuracy and quality
- Help with loading and unloading coils as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
