We are looking for a dynamic Network Configuration/Performance Analyst to join our team! The Network Configuration/Performance Analyst will work in Huntsville AL and will primarily support a federal customers technical support team.

The Network Configuration/Performance Analyst will provide technical engineering support for our large federal government agencys highly complex network infrastructure environment including multiple enclaves comprising various classification levels. The candidate will oversee technical activities performed by the teams personnel and provide them with the necessary guidance as well as serve as an escalation point to other personnel providing technical expertise and advice to the government in the area of network configurations and compliance.

This position requires an individual committed to supporting the mission by providing high-quality courteous customer and technical support.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Monitoring and analyzing enterprise networks
• Provide technical guidance and support to the Government Project Lead and other Network Analyst in support of monitoring and managing the customer networks
• Maintain awareness of trends and best practices related to networks technology and IT-related topics and provide recommendations to the Project Lead and Government on possible improvements or changes to customer systems and processes
• Provide high-quality and professional customer service in all interactions
• Use the FBI Enterprise Network Monitoring Platform to analyze and provide data and documentation related to the network performance of any or all network components

• Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
• Security or higher certification
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience with specialization in networking technologies specifically with Cisco switches and routers and analyzing complex networks
• Working knowledge of web applications web servers application load balancers and storage systems
• Must have good knowledge of general network and security tools and methodologies such as firewalls IDS/IPS and access control lists
• Moderate skill in scripting/coding (python go Perl Bash etc.) in order to support network automation tasks

Desired Skills

• A.S. degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related area
• CCNA or higher certification
• Experience in network engineering within the federal intelligence community
• Ability to adhere to a disciplined troubleshooting methodology and ensure task/mission completion along with creating and maintaining necessary information
• Highly self-motivated and directed with attention to detail

CATHEXIS offers competitive compensation packages to all eligible employees. The annual salary range for this role is $95000 - $113000. Please note that the salary information provided is a general guideline. CATHEXIS considers various factors in its final offer including location qualifications experience and skills.
