Assistant Buyer

The Assistant Buyer supports the procurement team in sourcing established raw materials and components. This role provides exposure to purchase order processing.

Essential Functions

• Assist in sourcing raw material and components.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and quotes under supervision.
• Track shipments and delivery schedules
• Ensure products are ordered and delivered to the correct locations.
• Track purchase orders from creation through receipt and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide support to resolve shipment discrepancies and invoice issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• GED preferred.
• Experienced working with ERP system.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• No travel required.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of sitting standing laptop use etc.
• Required to adhere to all physical requirements involving being able to lift and/ or move up to forty pounds.
