Who are we looking for
Our Engineering Design Organization (EDO) is growing and looking for an experienced Electrical Revit Designer to join their team in the Northeast! In this role youll play a key part in the electrical design of power distribution systems for municipal water wastewater and infrastructure-related facilities leveraging Revit and AutoCAD to bring complex engineering concepts to life. This is an opportunity to work on large technically challenging projects where high-quality coordinated and constructible 3D models and contract drawings are critical to project success.
Youll develop and maintain detailed Revit models generate contract drawings directly from those models and apply sound judgment to interpret data resolve design challenges and manage multiple tasks across concurrent projects. Occasional onsite inspections and data analysis will round out your experience giving you valuable exposure to how your designs are implemented in the field.
This position is ideal for a designer who enjoys close collaboration with engineers and multidisciplinary teams and who takes pride in producing accurate well-coordinated models and drawings that translate calculations and concepts into clear buildable solutions. Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools methods and formats. Involves working independently.
- Solutions Analysis: Interpret data and identify possible answers. Involves navigating a wide variety of processes procedures and precedents.
- Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology external regulation and industry best practices through ongoing education attending conferences and reading specialist media.
- Operational Compliance: Develop knowledge and understanding of the organizations policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.
- Product and Solution Development: Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products.
- Design and Conceptualization: Research and interpret data trends and benchmarks relevant to digital products/services design.
- Quality Assurance Testing: Carry out a specified range of complex tests; interpret test data to verify that specifications are met and/or to identify remedial actions required to ensure conformance.
What youll bring to the team:
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or relevant design field
- 3 years of design experience with a strong emphasis utilizing Revit
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
- Demonstrated experience producing 3D BIM models and detailed construction drawings for electrical systems.
- Manage multiple project tasks and maintain flexible approach to meet challenging deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
- Possible field investigations and construction observations may be required

Salary Range:$26.00 - $44.00 based on experience and location.
