Job Summary
Ansible Government Solutions LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking a Drywall Stocker Scrapper to support operations at the San Francisco VA Medical Center located at 4150 Clement Street San Francisco CA 94121. Responsibilities
- Remove modify and install handrails and wall protection systems
- Perform wall repairs including drywall modification installation of backing materials and restoration of finishes
- Install ceiling systems (acoustic and hardlid) including framing and grid modifications
- Perform removal repair and installation of flooring systems primarily LVT
- Support additional projectrelated tasks (materials handling site control) up to 25% of total effort
- Must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this job
- Experience and skill level consistent with DavisBacon classification CARP(Journeyman Carpenter)
- Ability to follow VA direction and work under VA inhouse construction supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow instructions
- Must complete:
- VA site orientation and safety training
- Required VA TMS courses (ICARE Privacy HIPAA Customer Service etc.)
- Must pass VA background check and wear VAissued identification badge
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit stand walk lift squat bend twist and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
