Salary: $52500 (Bachelors) $55500 (Masters)
We are seeking dedicated early childhood educators to join the Pre-K team at Community Leadership Academy. As a Lead Teacher you will play a vital role in nurturing young learners preparing them for kindergarten and instilling a love for learning.
About Our Pre-K Program and UPK Participation:
Through our Universal Preschool Program (UPK) we offer free high-quality early education to over 30 students. Our curriculum follows the Core Knowledge Preschool Sequence ensuring a creative explorative and developmentally appropriate environment. This program emphasizes phonological awareness social integration and academic readiness to prepare every child for a smooth transition to kindergarten.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide support and educate Pre-K students fostering development in a nurturing environment.
- Prepare instructional materials and maintain an organized engaging classroom.
- Ensure compliance with CDHS regulations manage licensing renewals and coordinate advisory council meetings.
- Maintain and expand UPK programming while sustaining Colorado Shines accreditation.
- Administer Teaching Strategies Gold (TS GOLD) Interrater Reliability (IRR) to track student development.
- Provide ongoing staff training and ensure compliance with PDIS credential requirements.
- Collaborate with administrators and staff to implement best practices for early childhood education.
QualificationsRequirements/Qualifications:
- ECE Teacher qualification required by CDE or PDIS credentials; OR CDA credential Associate degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or CCP credential.
- CPR First Aid and Universal Precautions certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
- Experience with TS GOLD IRR and Core Knowledge Preschool Sequence preferred.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint Word and Outlook.
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
