Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Intern to join our team within the HR consulting space. The ideal candidate will support sales and business development initiatives by identifying potential clients generating leads and promoting HR consulting services to organizations across various sectors.
This role is ideal for a young professional looking to build a strong career in sales and consulting with hands-on exposure to client acquisition relationship management and structured sales processes within a professional consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential client organizations requiring HR consulting recruitment outsourcing or workforce solutions
- Generate and qualify leads through cold calling email campaigns LinkedIn outreach and networking
- Support the execution of business development strategies to grow the client base
- Schedule and coordinate meetings presentations and consultations with prospective clients
- Assist in preparing proposals presentations and client-facing documentation
- Maintain and update client/prospect records using CRM tools or internal databases
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and target sectors
- Follow up with prospects to nurture relationships and move opportunities through the sales pipeline
- Collaborate with internal recruitment and consulting teams to align client needs with service offerings
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and performance updates
- Represent the company professionally in all client engagements
- Support marketing initiatives such as campaigns events and webinars
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Marketing Human Resource Management Economics or related field
- 1 3 years experience in an HR Consulting Recruitment or Professional Services firm (Mandatory)
- Proven exposure to sales business development or client-facing roles
- Strong interest in consulting services sales and client acquisition
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong prospecting research and lead generation capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint); CRM knowledge is an added advantage
- Highly motivated target-driven and eager to learn
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
