The purpose of the DevOps Engineer role is to design build and maintain highly scalable secure and resilient cloudbased infrastructure that supports the organizations applications and services. This role ensures seamless integration between development and operations by implementing robust CI/CD pipelines infrastructureascode practices and automated processes that enhance deployment speed system reliability and operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirement:
Experience5 years in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.
Experience managing large-scale distributed systems and cloud environments.
Monitoring & Observability
Use Datadog CloudWatch and similar tools for performance monitoring and anomaly detection.
Implement effective monitoring and alerting strategies for proactive incident response.
Containerization & Orchestration
Deploy and manage Kubernetes and Amazon EKS environments.
Optimize clusters for performance scaling and resilience.
Technical Skills
Strong experience with IaC tools: Terraform CloudFormation AWS CDK.
Proficient with AWS and Azure services (EC2 S3 IAM ARM).
Skilled in GitLab CI/CD.
Handson experience with Datadog Grafana or Prometheus.
Solid Kubernetes/EKS management experience.
Programming & Scripting
Proficient in Python Bash or PowerShell.
Able to write clean reusable code.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or National Diploma in Computer Science IT or related field.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) virtualization storage and networking.
Additional cloud or database certifications beneficial.
Preferred (Not Mandatory) Certifications
