Pine Ridge and Lorraine Federation are looking to appoint a reliable and efficient part-time Premises Assistant/Caretaker on a permanent basis based at Lorraine Infant School and Nursery.
Your opportunity
We are looking for someone who will care for our buildings and grounds carrying out minor repairs as well as managing site health & safety compliance checks. The post holder will be expected to liaise effectively with contractors and be willing to attend appropriate training courses. As a key holder the role will also include security of the school premises including all buildings and contents.
The successful candidate will be expected to respect the need for confidentiality that exists when working in a school environment and will enjoy the rewards of working within a friendly and co-operative team.

- Be able to work to their own initiative
- Be capable of carrying our basic maintenance and DIY tasks
- Have good oral and written communication skills
- Be keen to contribute positively to the life of a school

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Pine Ridge & Lorraine Infants School our cluster includes the following other schools; Springfield Primary School Lightwater Village School & Cordwalles Junior School.

The Details
Start Date: ASAP
Salary:GLF Associate 2.1 - 2.FTE
Pro Rata Salary:14946.25 - 15738.13 (based on 22.5hrs) / 16606.94 - 17486.81 (based on 25hrs)
Hours of Work: 22.5hrs or 25hrs a week - Monday to Friday 7-8:30am or 9am and 3-6pm (52 weeks a year)
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: Monday27th April at 9.30am
