Funding Projects Officer

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Walsall to assist with the appointment of a Funding Projects Officer on a 6-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 19.29 - 24.54 per hour

Summary:

Support the delivery of key strategic funding initiatives including the Crowdfund Walsall Programme. This role focuses on building strong relationships across the VCSE sector supporting fundraising activities and ensuring the successful delivery of crowdfunding campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advisory support on funding opportunities and project development
• Lead on crowdfunding campaign support including project pitches and workshops
• Build and maintain relationships with VCSE organisations and key partners
• Support marketing and publicity activities including social media
• Coordinate and support delivery of funding projects to meet deadlines

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in funding finance or related field
  

Essential Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and experience working within the VCSE sector
• Proven experience in fundraising or bid writing
• Excellent project delivery and coordination skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to present information to a range of audiences
