Enerveo is one of the largest contracting businesses in the UK offering a broad scope of services including mechanical electrical high voltage electrical vehicle (EV) infrastructure installation test and inspection services as well as street lighting.

Job Title:Storeperson

Base Location: Fareham Palmerston Depot

Salary: 24309 - 31230 depending on skills and experience and working hours plus a range of other benefits to support your family finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern:Fixed Term Contract (10-months Maternity Cover) - Full Time Monday Friday. Typical hours are 07:30 - 15:30

Enerveo have an extensive street lighting business that manages over 1 million street lights across the UK and Ireland and through design project management consultancy installation and maintenance we play a major role in reducing energy consumption and carbon footprints helping towns and cities become smarter greener and more efficient which benefits us all.

What will I be doing in this role

Coordinate and optimise resources for street lighting operations ensuring timely delivery of maintenance and upgrade projects. Support field teams and liaise with stakeholders to maintain high service standards and compliance.

In a typical day you could expect to be;

Ordering and managing stock for lighting components and materials
Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining inventory records
Scheduling and allocating resources to support maintenance teams
Liaising with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely deliveries
Updating internal systems and reports to track usage and performance

What do I need to be successful in the role

A valid forklift licence is essential
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
Good communication skills for coordinating with teams suppliers and stakeholders
Proficiency in using stock management systems and basic Microsoft Office applications
A proactive attitude with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement

Some of our nice to haves are;

Previous experience in street lighting highways or utilities operations
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an operational environment
Familiarity with asset management or works management system

We can however support the right candidate to achieve any level of industry training/qualifications they may not have in the nice to have list
