Assistant Manager

HRSI is looking for Assistant Manager for one of our leading client in Pakistan.

Responsibilities:

assistance to Plant Manager on Electrical/ Technical matters.

2. Provide Technical Support to the O&M Team where necessary for smooth
operation of the Plant.

3. Liaison with the O&M team
to plan & coordinate electrical related
maintenance activities in WTGs & Electrical Balance of Plant.

4. Coordinate with O&M
Contractor to ensure that deliverables with in specified
timelines required from FWEL by CPPA/NTDC are in accordance with
P
lans/directives chalked out by Plant Manager & FWEL Site Team.

5. Prepare Technical Reports for Claims to be submitted to CPPA and other
agencies working with FWEL on the project.

6. Monitor and report Plant Performance to Plant Manager & Higher
Management on regular basis.

7. Ensure preventive maintenance programs are being carried out for electrical systems in accordance with recommendations of OEM.

8. Assist plant manager that system breakdowns failures are addressed
promptly & Plant is restored within minimal amount of time.

9. Liaison with RCC/NPCC in case of system breakdowns and scheduled shut
down for maintenance related activities.
10. Trained for rescue & up sailing to Nacelle at 80 meters height work/witness
with O&M Team as per requirement.
11. Assist Plant Manager to investigate / analyze electrical equipment failures &
recommend remedial actions to be taken.
12. Any other responsibility deemed appropriate by the management.

Additional
1. Lead electrical maintenance team and manage all electrical maintenance
activities and ensure cost effective maintenance of the Plant.
2. Ensure preparation of electrical section maintenance/overhauling plans
identify resources and implement the plans for enhancing plant availability
reliability and efficiency.
3. Make decisions and give appropriate technical vision/direction to his staff in
discharging their responsibilities whenever required.
4. Timely prepare control and manage the sectional budget.
5. Ensure availability of minimum stock level of critical and strategic spares.
6. Ensure timely preparation & submission of spare parts requisition to Manager
Store and its follow up.
7. Act as Acceptor/Issuer as per FWEL Safety Rules subject to his
nomination/authorization.
8. Ensure awareness and implementation of FWEL safety rules in his Section.
9. Participate in identifying relevant faults and recommend remedial actions.
10. Provide specialist knowledge and expertise to his team for electrical
maintenance and trouble shooting.
11. Provide commercial awareness of the plant to his team.
12. Coach & develop his staff to attain their full potential.

15. Liaison with NGC and CPPA regarding Monthly Energy Meter reading.
16. Liaison
with NGC and CPPA regarding Primary and Backup Energy Meter testing.
17. Liaison on any concerned issues with NGC and CPPA.
18. Suggest and implement improvement in electrical system.
19. Identify improvements in working practices.
20. Maximize his team contribution towards the company objectives
