Job Summary

Functional Analyst (Geospatial / GIS Project)
Namur Belgium (Hybrid)
Contract: Part-time

Were looking for a Functional Analyst to support a large-scale geospatial platform focused on managing and visualizing geo-referenced images and videos (Street Viewlike experience).

Key Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements for a GIS-based platform
Model processes using BPMN / UML
Define functional specifications for features like image navigation filtering and historical comparison
Collaborate with dev teams (Angular Spring Boot PostgreSQL)
Support testing strategy (API testing automation validation)
Work with geospatial tools (e.g. Leaflet OpenLayers Mapbox)
Produce clear functional & technical documentation

Requirements

Proven experience as a Functional Analyst
Strong skills in requirements analysis & documentation
Experience with BPMN UML and testing methodologies
Familiarity with web services / APIs
Knowledge of GIS / geospatial tools
Fluency in French (C2)

Nice to Have

Experience with test automation tools (Selenium Cypress Jest Mocha)
Exposure to data visualization / reporting tools
Basic experience with Jira
