Role Overview

Technical Account Manager East Coast (Remote)
Salary: $80000 $95000 Full-time

A field-based technical role supporting printing ink performance across regional accounts. This position combines hands-on troubleshooting with customer relationship management and sales support.

Position Summary

Serve as the primary technical contact for customers resolving pressroom issues optimizing ink systems and supporting account growth through strong technical expertise and collaboration with sales teams.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen customer relationships across assigned accounts
• Troubleshoot printing and ink-related issues in press environments
• Provide technical analysis reporting and process improvements
• Recommend suitable ink chemistries based on system needs
• Support sales efforts to maintain and expand business
• Deliver customer and internal training on printing processes and color systems
• Maintain accurate reporting documentation and workflow tracking
• Ensure compliance with safety and hazardous material procedures
• Provide operational support as needed across locations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of printing experience (offset and/or flexography)
• 3 years of color matching experience
• Proven troubleshooting skills in press/print environments
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills
• Solid math skills (percentages fractions decimals conversions)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email tools
• Close attention to detail and the ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• G7 certification
• Technical or college education
• HazMat certification
• Shipping/receiving experience

Work Requirements

• 5075% travel within the region
• Ability to work with chemicals in production settings
• Lift to 50 lbs; stand/walk for extended periods
• Use of PPE is required in operational environments
• Flexibility for extended hours or weekends as needed
