Position Summary

IT Consulting company is seeking a client-facing Solutions Engineer with a hands-on development background to support solution design pre-sales activities and project delivery.

This role is focused on solution design and client engagement supported by real-world implementation experience.

This position is exclusively for current or former developers. Candidates without hands-on development experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement

• Understand client business requirements and challenges
• Propose practical solutions
• Prepare proposals demos and effort estimations

2. Solution Design

• Lead requirement gathering and business analysis
• Design scalable and implementable system architectures
• Translate business needs into technical solutions

3. Delivery Support

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful delivery
• Review technical designs and validate feasibility
• Support UAT and go-live processes

4. Technical Involvement

• Validate solutions based on hands-on development experience
• Support prototyping troubleshooting and technical decision-making

Technical Scope

• Microsoft ecosystem (M365 Power Platform Azure)
• SQL / Database (MSSQL preferred)

Required Qualifications

• Mandatory: 13 years of hands-on scratch development experience
• Experience across system development lifecycle (design development testing deployment)
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in client-facing roles
• Experience preparing proposals and estimates
• Python development experience
