A dynamic opportunity for an attorney with 2 years of experience to transition into or grow within estate planning. This role is ideal for someone client-focused comfortable in public-facing settings and interested in long-term career development within a collaborative and growth-oriented legal environment.
Compensation & Requirements
- Salary: $150000 $300000 (DOE)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years
- License: Active New Jersey bar admission required
- Estate planning experience not mandatory (training provided for the right candidate)
Key Expectations
- Confident engaging personality with the ability to present at live workshops
- Availability to work in-office 4 days/week (remote on Fridays)
- Strong interest in estate planning and client advisory
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the estate planning practice improving systems and workflows
- Collaborate with marketing to drive client acquisition and growth
- Conduct consultations and provide tailored legal strategies
- Manage the full client lifecycle from intake to post-signing
- Draft and review estate planning documents (wills trusts POAs etc.)
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams for seamless service delivery
- Stay updated on legal developments in estate tax and elder law
- Support team growth through mentoring and hiring
Qualifications & Skills
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Strong drafting analytical and communication abilities
- Client-first mindset with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts
- Highly organized detail-oriented and collaborative
- Admission to NY and/or PA is a plus
