Description of Work

This position is essential for MDC to effectively integrate Epic/eMerge into the standard workflows of all employees under the umbrella of the Programming Department which includes non-medical clinicians/professional support direct care and residential management. This includes both user input and management monitoring to support system-wide adoption ensure regulatory compliance increase operational efficiency and enhance resident safety and quality of care. Primary job responsibilities include:
serving as the primary liaison between staff within the umbrella of Programming and the Epic/eMerge (IT) Team & DSOHF Informatics Team
provision of on-site assistance to include personalized help
serving as the initial point-person for trouble shooting and actively involved in formulating solutions to identified operational problems
helping to train workflows to associated end users
assisting management in effectively utilizing reports to enhance monitoring
assisting with continuity during downtime
This position reports directly to the Programming Director but will be working closely with department heads and service area chiefs aligned with programming as well as quality management and staff development.

Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary for meeting the needs of the Center.

This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.

Recruitment Range: $60881.00 - $106544.00

  • Experience working with/in an electronic health record.

  • Experience and notable skill collaborating with others and developing rapport to achieve organizational goals.

  • Experience providing coaching & feedback to a variety of staff that they are not directly responsible for.

  • Ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to include adjusting language or terminology to meet the needs of the audience.

  • Experience working on and tracking multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to analyze moderately complex situations and develop solutions.

  • Ability to independently initiate and prioritize work schedule and tasks to meet organizational needs.

  • Skill in collecting and analyzing/interpreting data.

  • Foundational knowledge of regulations and statutes governing ICF facilities/SDC.

Work Schedule: 8:00a 5:00p Mon - Fri (with some after hours and weekends as needed for training & support)

Minimum Education and Experience
