Job Description

In this role youll work as part of a team to move organize and secure railcars supporting customer operations and ensuring every move is performed with precision and care.

Whether you bring prior rail experience or are looking to grow your career in rail operations Railserve provides paid training strong leadership support and long-term career opportunities.

Schedule:
8-hour shifts MondayFriday with some overtime

Compensation:
$18.00 $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Duties

• Assist with moving and securing railcars
• Operate switches gates and hand brakes
• Connect and disconnect railcars
• Guide locomotives using radio or hand signals
• Monitor track conditions and identify hazards
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Perform additional duties to support safe rail operations

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift carry and handle equipment (up to 50 lbs)
• Climb on and off railcars ladders and platforms
• Ability to wear required PPE without restriction
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a drug screen physical and background check
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Military experience and experience following detailed procedures is a plus
