The mission of the software team in Marlborough MA is to provide world-class software for our customers. We are looking to add software engineers to our development team for a wide array of products including Surveillance and Warning systems.

What You Will Do

Participate in collaborative integrated product teams employ agile software development techniques and resources to develop test and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications
Assist and participate in the requirements design development and testing of real-time embedded software application software and tools to include development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems
Work collaboratively with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze implement and test system

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience.
Experience in any of the following software development integration test using C C# Java or similar software language
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required note only U.S. Citizen can obtain security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

Strong problem-solving teamwork and communication skills
Desire and ability to learn new technologies and tools
Experience working in Agile environment such as Scrum Scrum @ Scale SAFe Test-Driven Development DevSecOps
Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems
Experience with integrated development tools such as Azure Git Atlassian Suite Jenkins Eclipse and Ansible
Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development pipeline
Knowledge of Red Hat and/or Linux Operating Systems
Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
