Pay Rate: $21.50$22.50/hour (based on experience) $500 Hiring Bonus
Community Access Services is currently hiring Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Salem OR to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have multiple part-time openings available. No experience required paid training provided.
Part-time positions in Salem are eligible for a $500 hiring bonus.
What Youll Do as a Direct Support Professional
- Build meaningful person-centered relationships that support independence dignity and personal choice
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation personal care and household routines
- Support individuals with community participation recreation appointments and personal goals
- Encourage skill development confidence and social connections
- Follow individualized support plans (training provided)
- Administer medications safely and maintain accurate documentation
- Help maintain a safe clean and welcoming environment
- Advocate for the needs and preferences of the individuals you support
- Experience as a DSP caregiver or in human services is helpful but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license and ability to become an approved company driver
- Ability to pass a national background check
- Strong communication patience and problem-solving skills
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility support
- Dependable and committed to providing person-centered support
- Competitive Pay: $21.50$22.50/hour (based on experience)
