Job Description
As Head of Sales at NTS Singapore you are responsible for leading NTS Singapores commercial strategy managing key strategic customer relationships and driving business growth in alignment with global objectives.
This role focuses on developing deep customer and market insights expanding new business opportunities and strengthening the companys position in Southeast Asia. It also involves leading and developing the local sales team ensuring strong performance disciplined sales processes and a customer-centric culture.
Acting as the Voice of the Customer the Head of Sales will align internal stakeholders provide visibility on commercial progress and play a key role in shaping the future direction of NTS Singapore.
Furthermore your key responsibilities are:
Be the primary point of contact for a group of strategic local & global customers. You are responsible for organizing the proper action to address the needs of the customer for any commercial matter (operational tactical and strategic) which commonly arises
You will form strong relationships with local & global customers uncovering their true needs how their organizations are structured and familiarize yourself with the markets in which they operate. You will also stay abreast of market trends becoming an authority on market developments in those fields relevant to NTS Singapore
Based on the insights generated you will drive the commercial strategy needed to achieve the long-term ambition of NTS in Singapore (5 year plan)
You will seek alignment with peer commercial roles within the NTS Group to ensure that our local commercial plan aligns with NTS global commercial plans
Responsible for new business development regularly attending (international) trade fairs and networking events to this end. You will also visit suppliers both local and in the SEA region to understand how to best position the company such that we obtain a commercially position as a recognized contract manufacturer in Singapore
You will closely align and work with the Asia Regional Business Development Director and relevant Global Account Managers
Manage the sales teams in Singapore:
Bring the sales team to the next level; set the bar to meet what our key customers expect from a strong and well-organized contact manufacturer of choice
Set appropriate & SMART objectives and measurable targets for sales managers
Ensure that objectives are monitored regularly and actively bring back on track when deviating. Drive adherence in the sales processes used and organize for further improvements
Be The Voice of the Customer for the NTS organisation internally:
You will be responsible for clearly communicating the customers needs and efficiently updating the internal team on the progress of the commercial strategy being deployed related commercial improvements sales pipeline etc
You will be a key part of the management team of NTS Singapore in which you can help shape the future of NTS Singapore
Job Requirements:
Possess Minimum Master or bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Physics or similar
Minimum 10 years of experience in the high-tech industry and a commercial-technical educational training
With previous working experience in project-driven organizations excellent knowledge of sales processes and an ability to adapt to the multiple cultures NTS operates with(in)
Experienced in driving organizational and work culture change will be an added advantage
Possess an open and approachable personal manner an innovative and creative attitude and strength of character. Drive entrepreneurship excellent listening skills and a focus on the needs of the customer are key requirements for the role
