Work Hours (Client) : Ability to overlap with EST

Pay Range : $1500 - $2500 USD/month(varies based on skill set and experience level)

Company/Client Overview:

We are a US-based family office seeking a Senior Accountant based in Montevideo Uruguay to support the accounting and administrative operations of the family office. This is a foundational hire that will grow with the organization reporting to a US-based Controller in Pittsburgh PA - USA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Personal and household bill pay across multiple properties and accounts
• Accounts payable vendor setup invoice processing payment approvals and recordkeeping
• Bank reconciliations across multiple personal and entity accounts
• Bookkeeping for multiple holding entities and personal accounts
• Cash flow tracking and reporting
• Document management and financial recordkeeping
• Coordination with US-based Controller on reporting and workflow
• Support annual tax prep by organizing financial records for US CPAs

Minimum Requirements:

Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills

Education: Bachelors Degree (ideally)

Experience: 5-10 years of related experience

• 510 years of accounting experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish strong written and spoken English required
• Experience with US-based clients or a US/multinational employer strongly preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar; familiarity with a plus
• High attention to detail discretion and reliability
• Able to work independently without close day-to-day supervision
• Contador Público or equivalent credential preferred
• Ideal candidates have Big 4 or mid-tier firm experience in Uruguay (KPMG Deloitte PwC EY) serving international clients or have previously supported a family office private equity back office or similar operation.
