Adjunct Pool Instructor of Mechanical Engineering

Position Summary
The Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for an adjunct (per-course) faculty position. We are looking for instructors interested in teaching any of the following courses on an on-going or per-semester basis: Thermodynamics Engineering methods (Solidworks design and 3D printers) Manufacturing process ( CNC machine casting laser cutter etc.) Mechanical simulation (Solidworks) Robotics (Matlab) Candidates with a masters degree or significant industry experience in Mechanical Engineering will be considered and college-level teaching experience is preferred. Founded in 1861 North Central College is a nationally recognized institution of about 3000 students located in Naperville IL a thriving suburb just west of Chicago. The College is in a period of growth with the addition of a $60 million Science Center (2017) and a new Health Sciences and Engineering building (2020).
