  • Corpus Christi Catholic School is seeking a faithful enthusiastic and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)to join our team for the 2026-2027school year. Applicants must be in support of the mission and vision of Corpus Christi Catholic Schooland has a passion for supporting students in developing essential communication skills that contribute to their academic success and overall growth. This position serves students across grade levels in a collaborative faith-filled environment working closely with classroom teachers interventionists and administration to support students academic social and speech growth.     Responsibilities:

    • Recognizes and supports the mission of Corpus Christi Catholic School by speaking acting and instructing in a manner consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church
    • Helps build the schools faith community through participation in school religious and service activities
    • Conducts speech and language screenings for PreK and Kindergarten students to identify early areas of need
    • Delivers direct and indirect speech/language services in individual and small group settings
    • Collaborates with the schools LEA to support evaluation processes and determine student eligibility for services
    • Implements speech and language services for students with existing ISPs in alignment with established goals
    • Monitors student progress and maintain documentation aligned with ISP goals and service requirements
    • Collaborates with classroom teachers interventionists and administration to support student success across settings
    • Communicates regularly with parents regarding student progress and strategies for support
    • Supports teachers with strategies to enhance language development in the classroom
    • Participates in student support meetings (WIN team) and collaborates as part of a multidisciplinary team

    Qualifications:

    • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Valid Illinois Licensure (or ability to obtain)
    • Strong collaboration organization and communication skills
    • Certificate or eligible for Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
    • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
