We are looking for a dynamic organized self-starter to join ourResource Industries Operations& Products (RIOP)as a HR Operations Coordinator in Decatur IL.


What you will do:

  • Contribute to operational excellence in HR by efficiently and accurately executing processes related to employment compliance payroll absence management time tracking benefits administration and employee data management.

  • Providean excellentservice experience when executing employee-facing processes.

  • Proactivelyidentifyopportunities to improveemployeeexperience quality velocity and/or cost of HR processes.

  • Support theNew Hire Orientation processfor all production employees joining the teamatDecatur

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by collecting analyzing and reporting employee feedback data to informobjectives measure progress and drive actionable insights.


What you have:

  • Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods foridentifying evaluatingintroducingand implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities.

  • Information Capture:Knowledge of the methodschannelsand processes to obtain needed information; ability toidentify capture and document relevant business information in an auditable organized understandable and easily retrievable manner.

  • Service Excellence:Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail:Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks withhigh levelsof precision.

  • Employee Relations: Knowledge of the rights and obligations inemployeerelations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employeecommunications.

  • HR: Policies Standards and Procedures: Knowledge of human resource function; ability to uphold the organizations and industrys standardsproceduresand policiesregardinghuman resources management.

  • Human Resources Consulting: Knowledge of HR approachestoolsand techniques; ability to inform guide and advise managers in HR-related initiatives.

  • Human Resources Operations: Knowledge of human resources (HR) policies operationalprocessesand considerations; ability to implement HR related tasks processes and projects to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Summary Pay Range:

$72360.00 - $108540.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
