Description of Work

The position serves as a subject matter technical expert and product owner of datasets and dashboards created with Power BI. The position will enable the most streamlined dashboards using analytic tools and serve as the work units primary technical resource for creating and enhancing the units Power BI dashboards. The position will be HSBIAs primary point of contact with IT Data Architects and Database Administrators to address upstream data architecture needs in order to enable automated dashboards that are useful and performant. The position promotes and explains data products to non-technical audiences and collaborates with other agencies to a greater extent
than others in the work unit.
Prior experience in data-related tasks and performing advanced-level computations on the data sets.
Demonstrated proficiency with Power BI Tableau SAP Business Objects and/or other analytics tools.
Strong analytical skills including data analysis modeling data mining and the ability to translate complex data into usable dashboards.
Proven ability to transform business rules and data into dashboards.
Basic understanding of relational database structures business intelligence reporting schemas (fact and dimension tables) and Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes

Salary Range: $75818 - $113727

This position is funded in part through federal funds.
