Job Title: Registered Nurse Medical / Surgical
Location: Canton GA 30115
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical/Surgical assignment in an acute care setting. This role involves delivering high-quality patient-centered care within a specialized Neuro Unit supporting patients recovering from surgical procedures and acute medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including assessment planning implementation and evaluation of nursing care plans
• Monitor and assess patient conditions recognizing and responding to changes in clinical status
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
• Perform neurological assessments and support post-operative care for surgical patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans medications and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Ensure compliance with infection control safety and quality standards
• Assist with mobility activities of daily living (ADLs) and overall patient comfort
• Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certifications required:
  • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Additional Information:

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
