JobSummary

The Toddler Care Team Member is responsible for supporting the care and education of up to 8 infants (ages 3 months to 2 years) or up to 14 toddlers (ages 12 months to 3 years). This collaborative role ensures that all community members experience a safe clean and welcoming environment that feels like a home away from home. Grounded in the Gospels message of love and service this role fosters a strong sense of belonging for addition to nurturing growth and strengthening community this role also Lead.

Responsibilities

Student&FamilySupport

• Serveasawarmandwelcomingpresenceforchildrenandfamilies.
• Ensureasafeandsecureenvironmentforfamilies.
• Communicateeffectivelywithstudentsfamiliesandcolleaguesadheringtoschoolprotocols.
• Maintaincurrentandcompleterecordsasrequired.
• Participateinschool-ledcommunityevents.

Leadership&Care

• Supportthecareteaminprovidingindividualizedcareincludingfeedingdiaperingpotty training and creating daily schedules.
• Attentivelyimplementdevelopmentallyappropriateactivitiesusingplay-basedmethodologiesto spark curiosity and facilitate learning.
• Celebrateandsupporteachchildsstrengthsandasneededincorporatetailoreddevelopmental support.
• Supporttheintegrationofthenature-basedcurriculumwithdailyoutdooractivities neighborhood walks and moments of discovery.

RequiredQualifications

• ActiveMERITaccountwithup-to-dateSTARSdocumentationandacommitmentto10STARS hours annually.
• CompletionofChildcareBasicsCourse(30hours).
• Minimumoftwoyearsofexperiencecaringforinfantsandtoddlers.
• Stronginterpersonalcommunicationorganizationalandtime-managementskills.

PreferredQualifications

• ECEInitialCertificate(12hours)orhigher.
• EarlyLearningShortCertificate(20hours)fromanaccreditedinstitution.
• Experienceinnature-basedlearningenvironments.
• FamiliaritywithGoogleWorkspaceandVeracross.
• KnowledgeoftheCatechesisoftheGoodShepherd.

Compensation&Schedule

HourlyRateRange:$22-30.00perhour. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.
