Warehouse TechnicianLocation: Clintonville WIDepartment: Warehouse / MaterialsReports To: Department ManagerSchedule: Day Shift 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through FridayPosition SummaryUnder the direction of the department manager the Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting warehouse operations and maintaining warehouse equipment and infrastructure. This role helps ensure the warehouse remains safe clean and organized while supporting material handling and equipment ResponsibilitiesLeadershipCommunicate effectively with team members across the organizationMaintain a professional attitude when interacting with coworkers and employeesDemonstrate strong organization and time-management skillsMaintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with othersIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectivenessSafetyContribute to maintaining a safe work environment for all associatesIdentify safety concerns and assist with implementing solutionsParticipate in monthly safety meetings and safety initiativesFollow all safety guidelines and operational proceduresTechnical / Operational DutiesUnderstand warehouse processes and systems within the area of responsibilityOperate powered industrial vehicles including forklift reach truck and roll clampTransport materials throughout the facility while maintaining product qualityComplete daily safety inspection forms for PIV equipmentWarehouse Maintenance & SupportMaintain warehouse racking including rack installation anchoring pallet supports and location labelsMaintain and replace warehouse floor striping as neededPerform minor forklift maintenanceWater batteries for powered industrial vehicles on a weekly basisOperate floor scrubbers to maintain facility cleanlinessRepair crushed cores in rolls as neededClean dock door screens when necessaryAssist with removing obsolete product from the warehouseSupport other departments or work areas when neededGeneral ResponsibilitiesFollow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Follow Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for assigned tasksMaintain a clean and organized work environment following 6S standardsReport unsafe conditions or hazards to managementPerform additional duties as assignedPhysical RequirementsAbility to frequently stand walk bend kneel squat twist and reachAbility to lift up to 50 pounds frequentlyAbility to work in a warehouse environment and operate powered equipmentQualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperiencePrevious warehouse or utility experience requiredMinimum of one year forklift experience preferredCDL license or experience is a plusSkills & CompetenciesStrong organization and time-management skillsEffective communication and active listening skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving abilityExperience using computers and RF scannersCertifications (Preferred)Forklift certificationRoll clamp certificationReach truck certificationScissor lift certificationHow to ApplyInterested internal candidates should apply through the Dayforce internal career questions about the position contact:Kevin #CreativeConverting255#ClintonvilleJobs255
