Job Summary

Purpose Statement

ROAR Logistics is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Import Air Freight specialist to join our this role you will manage the arrival process of international air cargo ensuring compliance with CBP regulations timely customs clearance and final delivery. Key tasks include coordinating with airlines and truckers preparing Customs entries and providing timely delivery.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

Logistics Coordination: Monitor pre-alerts and coordinate with airlines freight forwarders and CFS (Container Freight Stations) for arrival and cargo availability.
Customs Clearance & Delivery: Ensure timely Customs clearance and arrange local trucking companies for final delivery.
Communication: Act as the primary contact for customers providing shipment updates (tracking and tracing) and resolving discrepancies.

Knowledge Skills and Experience

Experience: 1-3 years of freight forwarding experience particularly in air imports.
Education: High School Diploma required bachelors degree preferred
Knowledge: Strong understanding of U.S. import customs regulations recent and ongoing tariff changes incoterms and air freight processes.
Skills:
o High attention to detail to ensure timely processing of pre-alerts and arrival notices to verify accuracy of documentation and to confirm Customs entries are fully compliant.
o Excellent communication skills.
o Proficiency in industry software (CargoWise) a plus
o CCS LCB or other industry certification(s) preferred but not required.

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation its subsidiaries and affiliates (Richs)reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience knowledge skills abilities shift differential and location.

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$50235.00-$67965.00
