Description:
The Facilities Engineer III is responsible for the design maintenance reliability optimization and compliance of facility systems supporting medical device manufacturing operations. This role ensures all building systems utilities and infrastructure operate reliably and in compliance with FDA ISO and GMP requirements. The position requires advanced technical expertise cross-functional collaboration and leadership in reliability improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot facility systems including HVAC cleanrooms electrical infrastructure
Process utilities such as compressed air and water systems ensuring compliant operations.
Lead reliability programs for facility systems.
Ensure adherence to FDA ISO 13485 and cGMP requirements while supporting validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and change control processes.
Lead root cause investigations and implement effective CAPA solutions to address system issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency
Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance Manufacturing Quality and EHS teams
Manage contractors while supporting the execution of small capital projects.
How Will You Get Here
Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering field (Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering) or related field required
4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering required (preferred focus onfacility infrastructure engineering)
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD softwareproject management software.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principlesSix Sigma methodologiesand reliability methodologies.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Teamwork: Proven track record to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $90000.00$111000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
