Job Summary
About the Role
Our client in Bahrain is seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Head of Financial Control to lead financial reporting regulatory compliance and financial governance in a CBB-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial control framework internal controls and accounting governance.
- Lead monthly quarterly and annual financial closing and IFRS reporting.
- Prepare and submit all CBB regulatory returns and ensure compliance with NBR VAT requirements.
- Act as primary liaison with regulators auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Manage budgeting forecasting variance analysis and financial performance reporting.
- Monitor liquidity capital adequacy and financial health indicators.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
- Drive process improvements automation and financial system enhancements.
Key Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Professional qualification (CPA ACCA CA or equivalent).
- 812 years of experience in banking financing companies or CBB-regulated entities.
- Strong knowledge of CBB Volume 5 IFRS and regulatory reporting frameworks.
