Yard Associate

Heritage Landscape Supply is seeking a full-time Yard Associate that will focus on duties such as stocking the yard area warehouse areas pulling and receiving of products loading/unloading trucks. The workweek is Monday through Friday with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season. *Lake Zurich.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Stocking receiving pulling and staging all yard/warehouse products.

• Pulling Tagged and Untagged Quality Plant Material and Quality Product to fulfill customer orders.

• Ensuring accuracy of order and quality of product.

• Properly handling re-burlapping tying and tarping material for loading.

• Focusing on safe work practices such as wearing PPE proper lifting techniques etc. while performing daily duties and using company equipment.

• Loading unloading and securing product for customers delivery vehicles and inbound trucks.

• Assist tractor leader in unloading of new product off inbound trucks. This includes: Unloading product untying product getting product on temporary irrigation placing product in assigned area per yard map in an vendor tags as directed.

• Assist Inventory Leader with plant ID Fiore labeling.

• Keep area clean and free of trash

• Keep area organized. Organize product per the Yard Map.

• Ensure designated area is getting properly irrigated by irrigation team.

• Operating Skid steer in outdoor environments.

• Become thoroughly familiar with the product sold by Fiore Nursery.

• Wear a Fiore hat Fiore safety vest or Fiore safety t-shirt at all times and present yourself in a professional manner with a positive attitude.

• Other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Skid steer experience helpfulnot required

• Ability to lift 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a repetitive basis

• Bilingual (English and Spanish) ishelpful but not required

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test/background.

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $22.88 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including but not limited to the position being offered location education training and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Depending on the role associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs commissions car allowance or automobile and fuel program and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
