Accounts Payable Supervisor (R45356)

Are you a collaborative finance professional who enjoys leading people improving processes and delivering exceptional service Were looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to help shape the future of our Accounts Payable function while leading a talented team in a fast-paced high-volume environment.

In this role youll combine leadership problem-solving and financial expertise to ensure accurate and efficient payment processing strengthen internal controls and support key business objectives. Youll work closely with partners across Procurement Treasury Receiving and Finance helping drive continuous improvement while developing and mentoring a team of AP specialists.

This position reports to the Senior Manager Finance and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both operational performance and employee development.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Lead and inspire a team of Accounts Payable specialists ensuring accurate timely and efficient invoice processing vendor payments and reconciliations.
  • Coach mentor and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee daily workload management and support high-volume transaction processing activities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Procurement Receiving Treasury and Finance teams to resolve complex issues and improve end-to-end processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders by providing outstanding customer service and timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and internal control requirements while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Lead balancing and reconciliation activities identify discrepancies and drive resolution of complex variances.
  • Prepare and analyze transaction processing reports account balances and operational metrics to support management decision-making.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities including journal entries account reconciliations and other finance deliverables.
  • Monitor AP aging accruals and key performance indicators to identify trends mitigate risks and uncover opportunities for improvement.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and participate in projects that enhance efficiency accuracy and the overall employee and customer experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree in Finance Business Administration or a related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel Word PowerPoint SharePoint etc.
  • Understanding of basic financial and accounting concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to support team initiatives and problem-solving skills.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience leading others.
  • Ability to balance multiple high-priority activities.
  • JD Edwards ERP experience.
  • IntelliChief AP automation software experience.
  • Experience in a shared services or high-volume multi-entity environment.

Pay Range:

$64500.00 - $103500.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
