Working for our team you can truly make a are hiring for multiple roles including MachineOperators and Press Operator work at MCC:Compensation: $19.00-$21.54 (Machine Operators) / $20.27/hr (Press Operator Assistant)Shifts 1st 2nd ( $1.00) & 3rd ( $1.50)8hr or 10 hour shifts with overtime on weekendsGenerous benefits package including medical dental vision disability life insurance and 401(k)Paid Holidays: New Years Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas Day plus two floating HolidaysResponsibilities:Digital Press Operator:Sets-up job in accordance with job ticket and product specification documents including pre-flighting files making color adjustments staging and job start-up quality sign-off including specification and visual digital press to produce products in conformance with customer specifications while minimizing waste and maintaining press supplies including inks coatings machine supplies parts and and troubleshoots the press and related equipment; responsible for preventative maintenance : Follow all safety guidelines for proper material handling machine and tooling in special projects and performs other duties as Operator Assistant:Comply with all company and safety policies and and maintains job objectives related to planning and execution of jobs and quick in make-ready operations and external clean-up ink pans and ancillary equipment; strips plates; locates with press operator to view labels using strobe light when quality assurance documentation as required by customer and cleanliness and organization; works overtime as :Digital Press Operator:High School Diploma or operating digital press and/or 2 years web/offset to read analyze communications & work instructions; strong interpersonal to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and aptitude; proficient with production materials quality methods color computer skills; prepress/preflight knowledge demands include standing walking lifting up to 50 pounds;Specific vision abilities required include color differentiation close/distance vision and ability to adjust focusPress Operator Assistant:High school diploma or GED; 13 months related experience to communicate well; read job tickets; read ruler; differentiate to input data; work in team with demands include standing walking lifting up to 50 pounds;Assertive solution-focused; able to multitask in fast-paced vision abilities required include color differentiation close/distance vision and ability to adjust focusSelf-motivated with the ability to stay focused and follow instructionsDiversity & Inclusion:MCC fosters an inclusive culture that respects and embraces our teammates diverse backgrounds and experiences so that everyone can achieve their full potential here.
