Job Summary
Applications are invited from enthusiastic and experienced Librarians to support the operation of our College library providing access to resources fostering a love of reading and supporting the learning needs of students and staff.

Emmanuel College is vastly increasing in student numbers. We are a two campus College our St Pauls single sex boys Campus located in Altona North and our co-educational campus located in Point Cook.
Operating within a Catholic ethos based on Gospel values Emmanuel College believes that all students can learn when given a safe and caring environment as expressed through its Marianist tradition.

Librarian
We have a position available at our Notre Dame Campus in Point Cook. This is a Category B position. The successful candidate will work full time during school terms and report directly to the Library Leader.
The successful applicant will:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the College library ensuring effective systems processes and resource management
- Develop and maintain a relevant and engaging library collection that supports curriculum and student interests
- Support students and staff with research information access and digital literacy
- Promote reading and library services through displays programs and events
- Collaborate with staff to support teaching and learning
- Supervise students and maintain a welcoming safe and productive learning environment within the library

Salary:
The Librarian salary and conditions are in accordance with the Education Support Employee - Category B scale under the applicable Catholic Education Agreement.
