Fixed Term: ASAP fixed term for 1 year with the potential to extend
Salary: Band 6 FTE ( Actual)
Working hours: 3 days per week. 8.15am - 3.45pm X2 days and 8.15am - 5.00pm X1 day.

St Judes Primary are looking to recruit a motivated focussed well-organised and engaging Cover Supervisor to join the team as soon as possible. This post would be ideal for either; a qualified teacher seeking a more relaxed role in education a Pre-ECT teacher taking time before starting their teaching career or an experienced Cover Supervisor or HLTA who would like to develop their school experience.
Are you keen to join a supportive driven and friendly team of teachers and support staff Do you have:
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
A flexible positive attitude and strong classroom presence
Understanding of how to support students with differing levels of ability and needs
Ability to maintain high standards of behaviour and learning in a classroom environment

We love the opportunities for both staff and pupils that the Cover Supervisor post offers and have been running a Cover Supervisor System for some years now with great benefit.
The successful candidate will be required to cover teaching across the primary phase sometimes at short notice. The successful candidate may be required to cover support staff or 1-1 absence or to work on a separate project. We encourage applications from those who want a part-time role.
