As the Security Officer ACSO you will support Aecons Chief Security Officer in leading and overseeing project site personnel and information security programs across assigned Aecon projects. Operating within a highcompliance environment you will help ensure Aecon projects meet all applicable federal regulatory and contractual security obligations.

In this role you will act as a key liaison with federal and regulatory agencies and work closely with internal partners across Operations HR Legal and IT to embed security requirements into Aecons project delivery culture and infrastructure.

What Youll Do Here:

• Provide direct support to the Company Security Officer in the execution of security governance and oversight responsibilities
• Deliver operational administrative and advisory support to ensure internal and external security protocols standards and procedures are consistently applied
• Oversee and administer security clearance processes for employees subcontractors and thirdparty partners as required
• Maintain and manage all records and data required to obtain and sustain security clearances including highly confidential and sensitive information
• Liaise with relevant government agencies regulatory bodies and external authorities on securityrelated matters
• Develop company and projectspecific tools materials and resources to support awareness training and understanding of security requirements
• Establish administer and maintain security documentation policies and procedures to demonstrate and ensure compliance
• Act as a central point of coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders on security matters
• Monitor interpret and communicate changes to security policies directives and requirements advising stakeholders on implications and next steps
• Support assessments and determinations related to access level and clearance requirements aligned with project and contractual obligations

What You Bring to the Team:

• Demonstrated sound judgment discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
• Excellent understanding of information security confidentiality standards and records management requirements
• Proven ability to interpret and apply projectspecific security requirements outlined in contracts and agreement documents
• Prior experience administering security clearances and managing controlled or protected information
• Highly selfdirected; able to work independently with minimal daytoday oversight while driving alignment and understanding across stakeholders
• Exceptional organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment

Pay Range: $100000 - $150000

Individual pay isdeterminedbased on several factors including work location education experience uniqueskillsand job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications specialized training and the complexity or scope of the role.
