Job Summary
Job Summary
- Plan organize and direct the day-to-day work of subordinates and assist in management of daily departmental operations.
- Respond to and resolve majority of the front-line operational problems.
- Coordinate inservices meetings training and orientation of new personnel in conjunction with the CPD educator manager and surgical materials manager.
- Maintain discipline and corrective actions as warranted.
- Assist in interviewing candidates for position openings and make hiring recommendations.
- Develop new procedures and update current ones.
- Accumulate QI statistics and report to manager.
- Demonstrates the delivery of excellent customer service by exhibiting the hospitals ten customer service behaviors in every aspect of the job (100%).
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred One to two years of college.
- 5 years of relevant experience Five years experience as a Central Processing Tech required. Computer experience required. One year of management experience required. Required
- 6 months of relevant experience Knowledge of surgical equipment. Required
- CRT-Registered Central Services Technician Certified (CRCST) - HSPA Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Upon Hire required
