Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a professional environment through strong customer service and this role you will bring integrity teamwork and reliability to each shift while helping people first in a dynamic people-focused setting.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry while following post orders screening procedures and escalation protocols for restricted or sensitive areas.
• Support public-facing operations by assisting with directions answering questions and coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• A pepper spray certification is preferred.
• A handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
