The beautiful AAA Four Diamond Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort is looking for a Host to join their team! This property boasts 6 exquisite dining options and over 60000 square feet of gorgeous indoor/outdoor event space. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader with a background in upscale high-volume restaurant operations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A minimum of 3 months experience in full-service restaurant or food and beverage

• Previous customer service experience

• The ability to work weekends and holidays as needed open availability

• Restaurant and hotel experience highly preferable

Pay Rate: $17.00 an hour

Schedule: AMshifts as early as 6:30am and ending as late as 12pm.

A Restaurant Host is responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing

As a Restaurant Host you would be responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs

• Seat guests and manage the seating chart

• Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow

• Perform opening and closing duties as needed

• Assist others with side work including but not limited to cleaning stocking folding silverware etc.

• Ensure knowledge of menu

• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner

• Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
