We are looking for a Psychiatric Liaison to join our dynamic team! In your role you will have the opportunity to lead assessments and coordinate the safe admission transfer referral and more with our patient population. Using your expertise you will serve as a liaison to the community and respond to law enforcement friends families and others in order to serve patients who are experiencing a psychiatric emergency. As the only Level I Trauma Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento you will have the opportunity to grow in your specialty alongside a supportive leadership team.

This position is part of the internal resource pool and is designated as a per diem role providing staffing support across designated departments based on organizational needs.

Education

• One of the following is required:
  • Masters Degree in Social Work Marriage and Family Therapy Counseling Psychology Clinical Mental Health or related field
  • Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Nursing

Experience

• 1 year of experience as a Psychiatric Liaison is required if qualifying with LCSW LMFT or LPCC.
• 2 years of experience is required if qualifying as an RN.

Licenses and Certifications

• FCDBH-5150 - Fresno County 5150 Cert required within 90 days of hire or transfer into position
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
  
  
• One of the following is required:
• LCSW - State of California Licensed Clinical Social Worker
• LMFT - State of California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
• LPCC - State of California Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
• RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California
