Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare calculations permit applications monitoring plans and progress reports
- Develop conceptual drawings related to infrastructure and shop drawing review response to requests for information and addressing construction issues and conflicts as they arise.
- Develop construction documents and specifications
- Conduct GIS map creation and exhibit development
- Perform spatial analysis related to infrastructure ecological restoration and/or development
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years professional experience performing technical work
- Experience with contract documents in Fairfax County and Loudon County is preferred
- Has a District PE or is able to get a PE within 6 months-1 year of hire (DC Virginia and Maryland PE)
- Proficient in GIS
- Ability to create GIS maps and figures
- Experience writing reports
- Understands general pipe repair concepts/terms (bypass pumping bulkheads slip lining etc.)
Salary range: $75000 - $108000/yearly (dependent on years of experience competency location)
