Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare calculations permit applications monitoring plans and progress reports
• Develop conceptual drawings related to infrastructure and shop drawing review response to requests for information and addressing construction issues and conflicts as they arise.
• Develop construction documents and specifications
• Conduct GIS map creation and exhibit development
• Perform spatial analysis related to infrastructure ecological restoration and/or development

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years professional experience performing technical work
• Experience with contract documents in Fairfax County and Loudon County is preferred
• Has a District PE or is able to get a PE within 6 months-1 year of hire (DC Virginia and Maryland PE)
• Proficient in GIS
• Ability to create GIS maps and figures
• Experience writing reports
• Understands general pipe repair concepts/terms (bypass pumping bulkheads slip lining etc.)

Salary range: $75000 - $108000/yearly (dependent on years of experience competency location)
