Summary
Our Yelp IT Technicians deliver top-tier support to our remote employees across North America and Europe Our team is dedicated to empowering Yelpers productivity from a warm welcome and onboarding to troubleshooting access requests and technical support for a wide variety of hardware and software. We work closely with Engineering to resolve issues quickly and improve IT services for everyone at Yelp.
In this role youll provide 5-star IT service to Yelpers in our San Francisco headquarters and those working remotely. Youll be the local go-to expert for troubleshooting Mac and Windows devices mobile tech printers and video conferencing along with general IT needs. Your responsibilities will include onboarding and training employees managing inventory maintaining our workspaces and supporting equipment repairs and provisioning. With most of our technology Apple-based we especially welcome those who are comfortable with or eager to learn Apple products. Youll also benefit from hands-on mentorship and ongoing training opportunities to help you grow your IT skills.

What youll do:
- Provide in-office walk-up support and maintain the office IT environment as well as remote assistance always ensuring a great customer experience for our Yelpers.
- Respond to escalated tickets resolve reported customer problems and manage support queues.
- Identify troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IT and AV hardware software and applications.
- Conduct monthly training sessions for our Sales team on essential tech skills such as laptop setup Mac and Windows fundamentals (including taking screenshots) and connecting external monitors.
- Assist with cycle counts purchasing inventory management monthly replenishment of IT equipment for local and remote employees and coordinate with 3rd party vendors for fulfillment.
- Collaborate with Workplace People Operations Recruiting and other IT teams to ensure 100% success on all new hires transfers and terminations.
- Support AV/IT experiences at in-person office events (occasional afterhours support may be required)

What youll get:
- There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range including but not limited to external market benchmark data geographic location and years of experience. Based on the anticipated level of experience we are seeking we expect the compensation range for this role to be between $58000 and $96000.
