Position: Home Lending Processor
Work Model: Hybrid/very flexible
Compensation: $22.52 to $28.49 per hour based on job-related knowledge skills and experience
Schedule: Full-time Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Overview

Our client is hiring a Home Lending Processor to support a growing home lending team. This role is responsible for helping manage loan activities across the processing lifecycle while delivering strong member service maintaining file accuracy and supporting internal teams through processing closing and post-closing activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide processing support for all phases of loan activities
• Review loan applications closing packets and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Order and review required documentation such as appraisals credit reports and employment verifications
• Follow up on missing or questionable information to help keep files moving on time
• Process underwriting or investor conditions and support timely closing and funding
• Prepare files for final approval closing packaging and delivery as required
• Schedule closings and communicate loan status with appropriate parties
• Record and maintain accurate loan data in internal systems
• Support administrative and post-closing tasks as needed
• Collaborate with team members to support department success and process improvement

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a similar or related position
• Fundamental understanding of mortgage loan processing functions including conventional and equity lending
• Knowledge of mortgage-related requirements procedures and underwriting criteria
• Strong communication and member-service skills
• Ability to multitask stay organized and manage competing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfort working with technology and learning internal systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Outlook and internet-based systems
• 2-year degree preferred
