Job Description
Our Investment Banking department is actively looking for an Analyst for our San Francisco office. The candidate will be working closely with senior members of the Consumer & Retail group with opportunities to gain exposure to both sell side and buy side advisory as well as underwriting and placing equity and debt offerings for public and privately held companies.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare client presentations drafting offering memoranda internal committee memoranda management and board presentations and other materials as required
- Transaction execution involving direct client interaction and communication
- Managing client due diligence processes
- Conducting extensive financial modeling and perform valuation analyses
- Assessing industry research and trends
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in investment banking corporate banking accounting or a similar field; Consumer experience ideal
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Elevated attention to detail and consistency in work product
- Strong work ethic and team player
- Organized and proactive
- Dealogic CapIQ Bloomberg and MS Office suite knowledge strongly preferred
- SIE 63 79 FINRA Registrations required at time of hiring or shortly thereafter
Compensation:
For job postings in California Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills qualifications experience licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $100000.00 - $110000.00 at the time of this posting. Also certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
