Job Summary
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

- Utilizes MRP in the planning of purchased finished goods
- Analyzes inventory needs determines domestic or offshore production
- Identifies patterns in product and supplier performance to help drive purchasing decisions
- Creates and maintains purchase orders
- Makes decisions regarding inventory levels purchases moving PO due dates and cancellations
- Maintains and improves tools associated with planning of purchased finished goods
- Participates in Microsoft Dynamics/MRP improvement initiatives
- Works with Merchandise Planning to reconcile supply and demand and to help with the S&OP process
- Collaborates with Inventory Planning team to review inventory planning parameters to establish/maintain appropriate customer service driven safety stock/reorder point levels for components and/or finished goods
- Build and maintain seasonal sample catalogs to support internal ordering processes
- Create and distribute sample order forms to cross-functional departments to collect sample product requests
- Consolidate departmental orders and coordinate sample purchasing requirements and place purchase orders for sample product
- Maintain accurate records of sample inventory purchase orders and allocations and communicate status updates and resolve issues related to sample orders and deliveries
- Overseeorders for allocation and deliveryconsistent with Vera Bradleys shipping policy including inventory allocationdelivery priorityresolving questions and adherence to special instructionsincluding EarlyOrderPeriod SalesConsultant and Departmental orders
- Establish andmaintainallocation rulesregardingfulfillment process including adherence to release rules and managing customer priority shipping
- Collaborate with Microsoft Dynamics business analysts to interpret business challenges and make recommendations tooptimizesystemic allocation and delivery flows
- Monitor all backorders cycletimesand unallocated product communicating needs toInventoryPlanning and/or Distribution to shorten fulfillment lead times
- Establishandmaintainthe flow of orders to the distribution center for shippingwhile maximizing order fulfillment and minimizing average deliveries per order
- Perform allocation procedure analysiswhile providing recommendations on best practices processimprovementsand development of innovative solutions
- Performs complex ad hoc analysis as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree majoring in business supply chain or related field strongly preferred
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification desired
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- 3 year purchasing or material planning experience preferred
- Good PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word Power Point and Outlook
- Excellent MS Excel skills required
- Microsoft Dynamics & Power BI skills preferred
- Strong team player
- Detail oriented with ability to prioritize and manage workload
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong decision making ability
- Good interpersonal and communication skills

Base Pay Range:
$58100.00 - $87100.00Vera Bradleys compensation ranges are based on market data and comply with all local state and federal regulations. Individual pay within the listed range depends on work location skills experience and relevant education. The posted salary reflects base pay only and excludes bonuses equity or other incentives if applicable.
