Job Description:
Workday Functional Lead is responsible for owning the functional design configuration and successful delivery of Workday solutions aligned to business requirements. This role acts as the primary functional authority for assigned Workday modules ensuring bestpractice configuration data integrity business process alignment and user adoption.
The Functional Lead partners closely with HR IT Program/Project Managers integration teams and external system integrators to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions across implementations enhancements and ongoing optimizations.

Job Description:
Workday Functional Lead is responsible for owning the functional design configuration and successful delivery of Workday solutions aligned to business requirements. This role acts as the primary functional authority for assigned Workday modules ensuring bestpractice configuration data integrity business process alignment and user adoption.

Your role:
As a Workday Functional Lead you will:
- Serve as the functional subject-matter expert (SME) for Workday modules CoreHCM recruitment compensation Benefits Absence/ Time tracking
- Lead endtoend functional delivery from requirements through postgolive support
- Guide business stakeholders toward standard scalable Workday solutions
- Ensure configuration aligns with enterprise process security and compliance standards
- Mentor functional analysts and ensure delivery quality across workstreams
Responsibilities:
- Own functional design for assigned Workday modules
- Translate business requirements into Workday configuration using best practices
- Lead requirement workshops design sessions and solution walkthroughs
- Ensure solutions balance business needs with Workday standard functionality
- Review and validate configuration completed by functional analysts or partners
- Ensure configuration is scalable auditable and future-ready
Required
- 8 years of handson Workday functional configuration experience
- Workday Certification(Minimum 1 certification) Core HCM recruitment time tracking compensation
- Proven experience as a Functional Lead on Workday implementations or large enhancements
- Deep knowledge of Workday HCM architecture and data model
- Strong experience with business process configuration and security concepts
- Experience supporting Workday releases and tenant management activities
Preferred
- Experience with global or multicountry deployments
- Prior experience in AMS or postproduction support models
- Basic workday integration knowledge
