Description:
We are hiring for our client a well-established construction and facilities management organisation to recruit a Quantity Surveyor based in Londonderry. This Quantity Surveyor role focuses on hospital works contracts supporting the delivery of high-volume maintenance and minor works programmes across healthcare facilities.

The Role:

Prepare cost estimates and quotations for projects up to 1m
Manage valuations variations and final accounts
Administer JCT NEC and maintenance contracts
Monitor costs profitability and cash flow projections
Liaise with Health Trusts project teams and subcontractors
Support tender pricing and bid submissions
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and audit requirements

The Person:

Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification
2 years experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
Experience in maintenance or minor works (public sector desirable)
Strong knowledge of NEC/JCT and Schedule of Rates
Excellent commercial analytical and negotiation skills
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
