Job Summary
The ICTV Sports Director is responsible for:
- Helping producers in their department train their cast/crew members at the beginning of each semester.
- Acting as a liaison between ICTV and all Athletics Department personnel to coordinate ICTVs press access and crew access to Athletics facilities.
- Managing the allocation of press passes available to the station.
- Coordinating meetings and critiques with all Sports producers to ensure all shows follow the ICTV workflow and rules and maintain good relations with Athletic Department personnel.
- Selecting Producers for shows that have requested the Sports Director to select.
- Managing the allocation of all ICTV Checkout Center equipment for Sports Shows.
- Serving as the Executive Producer of all Sports programming.
- Ensuring cohesive and professional broadcasts for all Sports programming on ICTV.
- Coordinating with other media outlets to share sports footage.
- Meeting weekly with the rest of the ICTV Executive Staff.
